Challenges for the next decade: how will Russia change by 2030?

The world around us is changing rapidly: technologies are developing, rebuilding everyday life and everyday life, and new threats and problems can completely reshape our country in the next 10 years.

Over the past 30 years, the population of Russia has remained practically unchanged and

Thus, the population of Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Kazan and other millionaires increased by 10-20%. They also go to the south: 1.5 times more Russians live in Krasnodar, Sochi, Novorossiysk today than in 1991.

Moscow stands apart. For 30 years its population

Everyone managed to collide with electric scooters, bicycles and other vehicles. They often swear at them, and it is not surprising: you have to drive on the sidewalk, taking away space from pedestrians, and some even go along motorways.

However, mobile transport is very convenient: it takes up little space compared to a car, you do not need to spend money on gasoline. It is enough to select a separate lane for it. This is what they do in Europe and the United States: they have built an infrastructure for bicycles, and the city has become convenient for everyone.

Car traffic has decreased, there are fewer traffic jams. Pedestrians do not fight for the sidewalk, and if they need to get to a store, cafe or work, they ride a bicycle in a separate lane. Cycle paths are already being built in many cities, and in 10 years mobile transport will become a convenient means of transportation.

Our cities suffer from poor ecology. In the Urals, poor air quality makes it difficult to breathe, and in industrial cities, emissions reduce life expectancy by several years. Because of this, we are increasingly thinking about the environment.

For example, residents of Arkhangelsk and the Komi Republic protested for several years against the construction of a large landfill, and they were heard: they will not build a landfill. The authorities also announced a «garbage reform» that will sort and recycle waste.

The movement towards greening will continue: residents do not want to breathe smog and will demand the construction of treatment plants and serious measures against polluting plants.

Thanks to the development of artificial intelligence, large IT companies are testing self-driving cars: they drive independently in compliance with all the rules. Tesla cars are already driving around the United States with little or no driver involvement, and Audi, BMW and other companies are also on the way.

In Russia, drones are being developed by Yandex; KAMAZ and Sberbank have their own projects. By 2023, they will be driving on all Russian roads, and by 2030, every fifth car will be unmanned. Thanks to this, the number of accidents will be significantly reduced: a computer, unlike a person, is obliged to follow the rules on the roads.
